Most producers receive one of two things: silence, or opinions. Neither is actionable. "It needs something" doesn't tell you what to fix. Opinion-based feedback conflates personal taste with structural problems — and you can't build a better track on that.
PETDUO 5R™ separates what is subjective from what is structural. It evaluates your track through five diagnostic lenses — each with its own framework — and delivers a prioritised action plan, not a mood board of impressions.

Tell us about your track
Complete the short form for your diagnostic: your artistic intention, the track's stage and destination. Upload your WAV directly in the form.

We diagnose
PETDuo evaluates the track through the five 5R lenses, starting from your intention and separating structural, technical and strategic issues from personal taste.
Step 05
Receive your diagnostic
Your written diagnostic arrives by email — with a personalised video walkthrough for Video Diagnostic. The delivery window starts once payment, form and upload are complete.

FAQ
Common questions.
What file should I upload?
One WAV file of the version you want evaluated, uploaded directly in the form after payment. Name it ARTIST – TRACK TITLE.wav. One diagnostic covers one track. Other formats are not accepted.
What stage can my track be in?
Any stage: work in progress, nearly finished, final mix, premaster, mastered or scheduled for release. You tell us the stage in the form, so the diagnostic is read in that context.
What is the difference between Track and Video Diagnostic?
Both include the complete written 5R diagnostic with relevant timestamps, a prioritised action plan and a release recommendation. The written diagnostic is always your complete working reference. Video Diagnostic builds on it with a personalised video walkthrough, audible timestamp demonstrations so you hear exactly what each point refers to, and one focused Technical Snapshot: a closer look at one high-impact technical aspect of the track, chosen because it helps you decide what to test next. The Technical Snapshot is not a full mixing or mastering review. Delivery: 3 business days for Track, 5 for Video.
What is Re-Diagnostic?
For existing 5R clients / revised versions only. It is not a new standalone diagnostic: it evaluates your revised version against your previous PETDUO 5R™ diagnostic, shows what has changed and updates your priorities and release recommendation.
Which languages are available?
English, Español, Português, Français and Deutsch, for all three diagnostics. You choose the language in the form. For Deutsch, the written diagnostic is in German and the Video Diagnostic walkthrough has German subtitles.
How long does delivery take?
Track Diagnostic and Re-Diagnostic: within 3 business days. Video Diagnostic: within 5 business days. The window starts once payment, the form and your WAV upload are complete. Delivery is by email.
What happens when weekly availability is full?
Each diagnostic has its own limited weekly availability. When one is fully booked, you can join its waitlist instead. Joining the waitlist is not an order and no payment is taken. Availability renews every Monday (Berlin time).
Is this mixing or mastering?
No. PETDUO 5R™ is a diagnostic service. We identify what works, what holds the track back and what to address next. The execution stays with you.
Does PETDuo tell me how my music should sound?
No. We start from your stated artistic intention and assess how well the track serves it, separating structural and technical issues from matters of taste. Decisions about your sound and artistic identity remain yours.
Is this a demo submission to Cause Records or another label?
No. A PETDUO 5R™ diagnostic is an independent evaluation service. It is not a demo submission to Cause Records or any other label, and it does not guarantee a release, label acceptance or commercial success.
What kind of tracks can I submit?
PETDUO 5R™ is designed primarily for techno, hard techno, hardgroove, industrial techno, schranz, acid techno and closely related styles. If you are unsure whether your track fits this scope, please email 5r@petduo.com before ordering. If a submitted track clearly falls outside our service scope, we will inform you before starting the diagnostic, cancel the order and refund the full price paid.
Is my track kept private?
Yes. Your track and all diagnostic content are treated as confidential. We do not share, distribute or reference submitted tracks without explicit permission.
